Pear Tart
3 or 4 ripe pears, apples, peaches, or any other fruit you might think would taste good in a cake!
Peel,core and cut into sixths, or eighths

Cream:
1 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp vanilla..

Add:
2 eggs, one at a time...

Combine:
1 c. flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 t. salt...

1/2 t. salt...
Add to butter mixture.
Rub butter all over the inside of a 8-9" cake pan (we use a square ceramic Le Creuset), then dust with flour. Spread mixture all over the bottom of the pan. Dump fruit on top. Sprinkle with suga.
Bake at 350 degrees til a skewer comes out clean, about an hour...
Don't over-bake. PLEASE SERVE WITH CREAMY VANILLA ICE CREAM
